thanks for your reply. I checked the version (Error in first post is actually the 5.0 version, sorry) and re-ran the script again on two different systems (unfortunately I don't have a second v5 vCenter at this time):

Had this same issue my self. Initally not an issue, but after an update to the image (default profile) to enable Aero the issues you reported came through. According to me I think physical disk has the obvious advantage because you can directly access it with any server that can be connected to it, while a virtual one needs an operational virtualization layer to be accessed.

The performance difference between the two options is really negligible

I think your RAID is still building.

If state RAID is really optimal You can try to reset sensors & update sensors

vApprun should work with a Studio-generated OVF. If you send me the OVF descriptor, then I will take a look at it.

Thanks for your replies. I am sleeping/eating/dreaming in the last couple of weeks with the blueprint and study guides from Ed and Sean and with the Trainsignal videos under my pillow but after reading some VCAP-DCA exam experiences, these questions were still not answered in my head.

I am using PowerCLI quite a lot at work (and appreciate its speed and simplicity) but was wondering that nobody mentioned the powerCLI software in the lab. I assume, it will be a powerCLI script to do tasks with...

At work, I have the pleasure to even work with Heartbeat and vShield, but even after spending several hours on Orchestrator, it turns out to be a black hole to me...

A last question... How are they checking the results? Is it a manual check of each setting or rather a script? If I need i.e. to replay recorded ESXTOP data, or plan capacity how can they see if it has been done?
