vCenter heartbeat 6.4 identical or non-identical

We in serious trouble in deciding whether to go with VCHB with identical or non-identical mode. Our setup is as below;

1. vCenter is running with SQL on the same server.

2. vCenter is integrated with our cloud infrastructure

3. vCenter server also runs SRM in it

Now, we decided to implement VCHB for the our vCenter. We could not able to decide on identical or non-identical mode, due the fact that VMware kb says, for non identical mode, we need to have remote sql server. we are ok go to identical, but not I am finding any document saying we can use VCHB 6.4 with identical mode. If anyone, already running vCenter hearbeat 6.4 on identical mode, please share your experience.

We are hesitant go with non-identical mode due to the fact that, it needs vCenter server rename, we don't want take chance since we also running SQL on the same server.
