ESX 4.1 can't access tty

When trying to reboot ESX 4.1 server, i am getting error: /bin/sh can't access tty. job control turned off.

Also i can see that vsd-mount service fails before this error is displayed.

Has anybody successfully solve this problem?

Pls help.
