You are absolutely right, the browser hags in loading state on selection.
If you are trying to enter the listed found suggestions for user or group lookup base in the configuraiton intergace, I will try to propose you an alternate (dummy) approach how to copy paste them. Of course the problem with the loading state still remains but at least it won't be necessary to enter large patch manually
If you are using IE browser just invoke the context menu, and select the option "add to favorites" 
Then you can just copy paste the necessary path form the edit box available.
