After update, I could not start my VM at all, I got the following error :
Error while opening the vitural machine file 
xx line 2 Value 8 for config.version is not valid in encoding "windows-1252"
My first few line of the vmx file is :
.encoding = "windows-1252"
config.version = "8"
virtualHW.version = "7"
memsize = "1552"
Looks like that VM player is not supporting windows-1252 anymore more. My question is, how can I start my VM ?
