Setup is so simple
On unisphere emc vnx3100 site (soft 2.1.1.14913)
1.I create storage pool
2. Unisphere create raid 6 from 6 nl sas 2 tb disks
3. I go to hosts, find esxi hosts, ok
4. i go to iscsi server setup, create new server with ip 10.1.1.2/24 on storage procesor A
5. i go to storage, i create storage for emc, in hosts access is 10.1.1.1 (esxi vmkernel) for datastore and snapshots
6. everything is fine and works
on esxi vspher site (esxi 5 build 469512)
1. Go to networking, add new vswitch for iscsi with ip 10.1.1.1/24
2. Go to storage adapters, add new storage adapter
3. i go to properties and set general/configure/enable iscsi
4. dynamic discovery add 10.1.1.2 ok
5. rescan all
6. go to storage and i see my datastore created in unisphere
i install new virtual machine and performance is poor, i try directly connect emc to esxi and by te switch the same result.
I remove all configuration for both esxi and vnx and made nfs, the same situation copying from one virtual machine (debian http server, file 3gb) to win2k8 max transfer is 30 mb/s
