I have seen to many certified professional who have gotten by just by reading study guides and who test well but when placed in the real cannot do anything - I am positive this is happening with the VCP because I have come across some incompetent VCPs but by at least by forcing class attendance the VCP candidate will be presented with excellent curriculum and will get some hands on time with the product.
